AMT, finished 07/2004. This was my first "civil" car kit. The quality of the kit was quite terrible (plenty of flash and fit problems), so maybe I should have chosen easier kit for the first try. Anyway, this was a good lesson in car modelling and I decided to build this as a therapy model and to test and learn the car modelling -specific techniques. The paint job turned out very bad as the humbrol colour didn't mix well with thinner (old paint?) so I didn't even try to polish it. Also bare metal foil gave some headache, so I was too lazy to use it in side window frames as this isn't a showpiece model. Anyway, despite all the problems this was a very good lesson and I'm sure that I'll build more car models in future.
