Italeri, finished 09/2004. I had been a bit doubtful about the quality of Italeri models, but this turned out to be quite nice qualitywise. Fitting was good, and parts didn't need much cleaning. I had Jordi Rubio metal barrel and Aber photoetch set as extra details, but in the end I didn't use much photoetches, as the Aber set was a bit too time-consuming when compared to for example normal Eduard sets. Airbrushed with Humbrol enamels + some washes and drybrushing and finished the surface with Mig pigments. I think that I overdid the pigment effect and the surface color became a bit too "dead". Well, another lesson in the world of live and learn. This kit took part in IPMS Open 2004 and Model Expo 2005.
